What's on your mind?
Journal prompt - Rather thans
This one makes me think about food. I'd definitely rather make chocolate chip cookies than buy them and I'd rather buy puff pastry than make it. Outside of food ... hmm. That'll take a little more thinking. Here's one: I'd rather make my own little photo studio with white foam board and a window than buy a photo light box (even though I sometimes lose a day to overcast skies) and I'd rather buy (or subscribe to) an editable website template than make my own.
How about you? What would you rather make than buy and vice versa?
Printable Journal Prompt #3
Ending the week on a hopeful note. I really enjoyed turning this week's prompts into journal pages. If you'd like to see more printables like this in the future, let me know! Click here or on the image to download today's prompt.
In the meantime, what's on your list?
Printable Journal Prompt #2
I wasn't thinking about Valentine's Day when I planned this prompt, but it kind of fits, don't you think? As with Monday's prompt, this one's printable. Just click here or on the image to download.
In the meantime, I hope you'll share a little of your day. What sorts of things (and loves) are occupying your time, mind, and heart today?
Journal Prompt (and it's printable!)
New week, new idea: printable prompts!
This week, all of my prompts will available as printable journal pages. (One today, one on Wednesday, and one on Friday.) It's been ages since I posted a printable and I don't think I've ever created pages for just one prompt at a time. I kind of like the simplicity of it. So let's give it a try and let me know what you think. Okay? Click here or on the image to download the pdf.
In the meantime, what are your three little things today?
Journal Prompt - Beginnings, middles, and endings 3
Ending the week with a prompt about weekends. My three things are 1) fewer practices and lessons, more meets and performances, 2) more socializing, 3) when we're really lucky, a little more time for coffee first thing in the morning.
What do your weekends look like? What sets them apart from all the other days of the week?
Journal Prompt - Beginings, middles, and endings 2
Not quite the middle I had in mind for this week's theme of beginnings, middles and endings, but after writing up a bunch of stuck-in-the-middle and midway-through-one-thing-or-another prompts, this one had a sense of hopefulness and goodwill that the others lacked. Which makes me happy on this particular Wednesday, the middle day of the week.
Where, in your day-to-day relationships, have you found middle ground?
Journal Prompt - Beginnings, middles, endings 1
For me, beginnings are exciting (and occasionally terrifying), middles are a roller coaster of uncertainty, small victories and perseverance, and endings are bittersweet. For today, though, let's start at the start: what's just beginning in your world?
Journal Prompt - The World Around You 5
Ending the week with awesome things. What's on your list?
Journal Prompt - The World Around You 4
A little daydreaming today about the world around us. (Or perhaps the first step toward planning a great adventure ...) If you could drop everything right now and take off to a faraway place, where would you go? What would you do there?
